It was a day in the life of a tele-visit
Venue: Livingspring Medicals virtual room
Her: Hi Dr Oh-lah-been-tahn
Me: Hi “you”
Her: “glowing”
Me: “seeing the glow”.. you look good!
Her: oh thank you!
Me: so I see your vital signs have changed
Her: yes, I did what you said
Me: what exactly was that? You know we said a lot
Her: I switched my rice and I’m actually eating more veggies and lean protein…
I also watched video with your friend Dr. Catherine Toomer
(I had shared the link)
And I started back walking for exercise
Me: awesome!!! Great job!
Proceed to doing a dance and gave her a virtual
Her: (laughing)
Me: I’m so proud of you!
Pause
More importantly though … how do you feel?
Her: I feel better
I have more energy Doc
I wanna lose more weight
Me: please remember that when it gets tough or you feel tempted to give up!
Her: yes doc
Conversations continue,
