“1/2 your plate can be veggies”
We had exchanged pleasantries…
I had asked her how she found me and asked that she thank the referee on my behalf …
Then we got to tips to eating better to feel better…
It was going to be a 3 week trial
We had negotiated this length
As part of reaching her own health goals…
not just the ones I suggested for her
I suggested “1/2 your plate can be veggies” for starters…
French fries don’t count I added “gently”
”Doc it’s like you read my mind”
Clear throat … then I shared the science of cravings and how obesity is a medical condition and can be treated with and without medications…
We would try food - as medicine…
I concurred and suggested a health coach to help!
“We’re off to a good start Doc”
I’d like to partner with you to help you live long and well, one habit one decision at a time!
