Lol!
Sorry... I laugh as I recant this story!
So the cousins were hanging out.
3 of them- my kids included.
I called “aunty” to ask how they were doing.
Then I asked what they had for lunch.
She paused.
I was like “hello.. you there?”
She said ..
“Uh they had sautéed vegetables served with a tomato spread”
Oh fancy!...then I thought ... my son won’t eat anything like that..
That’s when it hit me!
“They had French fries and ketchup didn’t they?”
Lol...
“Yes with a protein rich substitute on a cheesy platter” she added.
Pizza too? I asked
“Yes” she responded.
I asked that they be given fruits as snacks...
As I laughed so hard.
We can make anything sound healthy!
Like candied apples!
Or salad dressing.
Don’t be fooled.
Look at labels and be sure they are real products used to serve you- as often as possible.
A little sautéed vegetables served with a tomato spread does sound delish
