He evaded my eyes
I wondered why
Him: “I went back to old habits doc”
He had regained some weight and was obviously beating himself over it
Me: And you’re here and you didn’t give up: I responded
Please don’t give up on yourself
You try again
That’s all
He looked relieved
He had been on a weight loss journey for most of his life
We remain on a journey … everyone of us … we don’t quit because we went back or strayed … we simply redirect
With the right support and tools and with you never giving up on your self … I reminded him!
We talked wins
He had still kept 20lbs off
And felt better than when he first came in
We talked continued health coaching and maybe more frequently
We talked support systems
We talked medications
We talked mindsets… it’s okay to “fail” you just try again
Conversations continue. For weight loss and other health matters!
